Actually it opens but won't stay on any page for more than a few seconds. Also, my Toshiba laptop won't remember passwords or user names. Please help

"won't stay on any page for more than a few seconds"- sounds like a you got some cookie redirect, mal-ware related issues. Get yourself sufficient protection.
