Check Signal Cable. r4850 MSI

Hello,

I have a R4850 MSI GFX card. It wasn't working, so i cleaned the card ( the part which goes into the motherboard) with perfume , as it has some amount of alcohol and can clear of dust and unwanted stuffs. I placed it in it worked fine for 5 min then it went off !. then my LCD started displaying " Check Signal Cable".

I need help on what should i Do?.

I heard R4850 is repairable, if so what should i do ?.

Please let me know.

You didn't have to clean it with perfume, plus there is other chemicals in it.

Try another display plug if you have one, like the other DVI port.

it doesn't work either. Can it be a power issue ?

It could be that the GPU just flat out failed. Does the rest of the computer turn on without the graphics card?

Yes it does.
then when the GPU gives no display, i connect to motherboard vga, and it works. that means the pc is working... but the graphic card isnt ...
