I DONT KNOW HOW TO GET MY SSID

can anyone tell me how I get my ssid I am trying to connect a wireless printer to my laptop using a dongle

Hello and welcome to Tom's Hardware Forums.

Before you plug the dongle into the laptop, note which SSIDs are available on the printer's wireless setup menu. Plug the dongle in and another one will appear and that's yours.
