First time computer build do i have the right parts

I am building a desktop computer from scratch and i want to make sure i have all the right parts, meaning its a good, solid build and the parts will all work together. I'm new to custom built PC's and i don't want to make a mistake.
PS: the build is for running games like BF3 on high settings.
Here are my parts:
Intel Core i5-2500K Quad-Core Processor 3.3 GHz 6 MB Cache LGA 1155 - BX80623I52500K

ASUS LGA 1155 - Z68 - PCIe 3.0 and UEFI BIOS Intel Z68 ATX DDR3 2200 LGA 1155 Motherboards P8Z68-V PRO/GEN3

Graphics Card:
EVGA SuperClocked 015-P3-1582-AR GeForce GTX 580

Corsair Vengeance 8 GB ( 2 x 4 GB ) DDR3 1600 MHz (PC3 12800) 240-Pin DDR3 Memory Kit for

Optical Drive:

  1. Need a power supply, case, and I'd snag a couple fans too.
  2. Personally, I would suggest you look at the GTX 660ti for graphics. It has similar performance to the GTX 580 but costs a little less right now.

    Also, a little more info. would help. Please fill this out:
