Hello everyone, i need to buy my wife a new PC because her's getting too slow for what she does, she uses a LOT of Photoshop with god knows how many layers and she likes to render in real time house designs (she is an architect) she works with 2 monitors but she wants 3 now so i need to buy her a GPU that's capable of outputting video to three monitors (2560x1600) she also uses the CS6 suite for adding some effects to the animations she does of the houses getting build....anyways, this is her computer:

i7 920 @ stock clocks
Asus Sabertooth X58
12GB DDR3 @1600 Corsair dominator
GTX480
3x 2TB 7200rpm drives.
XFX 850w PSU
2x 1080p 23" monitors

She was going to buy a dell workstation but i told her i could build her something much better for less (i hope i am right:lol: ) so that's why i need your help, i really don't have a budget, she needs a fast machine...money is not really an issue.

The problem here is that i really don't know what to buy, i built that system a few years ago and when i bought something new i gave that one to her and she added a second monitor, this time she wants 3 (2560x1600) monitors and a lot of power for rendering anything in no time, i THINK this build is ok for her needs...let me know.

This is going to be first "professional grade" computer i will build so i fell like a complete noob picking the parts...specially the GPU (s) where i need special help.

It's my understanding that the GTX480 is a "Gaming" GPU so i think that's why that computer was so slow when rendering stuff, anyways, according to Nvidia a GPU can render god knows how many times faster than the highest end Xeon CPUs, i don't know if that's true but i am gonna believe it, my questions:

*What GPU is best for this kind of tasks?
*Should i go with the Quadro Plex 7000 or the Quadro K5000?
*is it worth adding a Tesla GPU?
*How many tesla GPUs can i add?
*instead of adding a tesla GPU, wouldn't it be better to get another Quadro card?
*are those GPUs compatible with the build i posted or do i need Server grade motherboard with server grade CPUs?

Any help will be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Get 2x WD 2TB drive instead, or Spinpoints. Get a dual Xeon setup if she's doing all that rendering.
