Solution
OMG!OOPS!LOL...i apologize i just realized i have been giving you prices in us where i am but your in ca. My bad bud sorry about that.
I'd recommend an AMD 7900 card over any GTX card for your purposes. They have better compute performance and I worry that like Quick-Sync, Nvidia's competing hardware decoder, although fast, also has crap quality. AMD's Radeon 7950 is also the top value high-end graphics card if you overclock because good 7950s, although priced around $300 now, can easily surpass the 670 in overclocking with current drivers. I've heard nothing but good things for the MSI 7900 and 7800 cards.

A good Z77 motherboard is probably the best choice in this situation even though you have a Sandy Bridge CPU. They are newer and thus more modern than boards that use older chipsets and Z77 easily has the best native connectivity of Intel's chipsets. Using a newer BIOS and newer drivers is a good result of this too.

What resolution are you going to be gaming at? How many of what graphics card(s) is truly best decided with this info kept in mind.

There are many great case options that have good support for water loops, although you probably don't want a cheap case for this, so $50-$120 or so is a good budget range.

Your PSU needs would depend on the graphics configuration.

A good PC3-12800 2x4GB 8-8-8-24 or 9-9-9-24 memory kit is usually recommended these days. However, you might benefit from having 16GB if your video editing is a big RAM eater.

Windows 7 Home Premium or Professional. It pretty much depends on how much memory you want to be the max upgrade for you. 16GB seems reasonable, so I'd recommend Home Premium unless you want to be more upgrade-friendly and in that case, Professional seems like the next best choice.

I would only be doing single screen at 1900x1080... other screens just for side programs like Skype i like to keep open and it helps with Sony Vegas. what motherboard do you recommend. i would like to have a sleek mobo (mainly black, no cheesy blue or white.etc), and what do you think of an cooler master haf x???

This is a great motherboard. It's also pretty much all black, and I'm pretty sure that you'd like it based on what you asked for.

A great Radeon 7950 that comes with a free Sleeping Dogs game copy.

A great PSU with enough wattage for some serious overclocking.

Also, I like pretty much all of the HAF cases. Do you know for sure if you're rather have 8GB of memory or 16GB of memory?

the two mobos i was looking at before were the
asrock extreme4/6
asus sabertooth z77
because of their looks.

I am still debating on amd tho, i was convinced into nvidea, i know amd is a better deal tho. ify on that

also i thinki would go long term with a power supply incase i get a second card for side screens, how many watts do you think i will need for oc on ram, gpu(s), and cpu + a cooling system?

Don't bother overclocking your RAM. It won't make a significant difference in much. It might help your video editing a little, but I doubt that it would be a significant improvement and gaming is notorious for not being limited by RAM performance much at all.

If you want a second card, then a 750-800w PSU might be a better idea if you want some big overclocks. There are higher wattage Corsair models for this.

For cooling, well, that would depend on how far you want to overclock your CPU. How far do you intend to try going?

it may be alot for some people, but not for me... i am using every usb port in my current shitty pc (10(8 on mb)) so if i were to get this board i would probably get a usb expansion.

I don't think you should waste your money on a H-100 not real watercooling anyways :na: for GPU honestly i wouldn't touch the 660 ti at it's current price i would go with a Asus GTX 670 DCU II Top. :sol:

Nice build bud the MSI 670 PE is a good choice i would buy that if the Asus GTX 670 DCU II Top was not a option PSU for your build 650W would be more than enough if you plan on ever buying another 670 in the future i would get a 750W reliable PSU just to assure you of my recommendations i will break it down for you nVidia itself recommend 500W for a single 670. Add 170W for SLI & recommended is 670W.
http://www.nvidia.in/object/geforce-gtx-670-in.html#pdpContent=2

For testing conducted for SLI 670, the resulting system consumption for SLI is 433W of which 293W are attributed to the gpu cards.
http://www.guru3d.com/article/geforce-gtx-670-2-and-3way-sli-review/4

If you use this psu calculator considering your components, the result is 664W (overclocked processor & used 680x2 to simulate gpu OC:
http://extreme.outervision.com/PSUEngine

All points out to 750W being more than enough.
