Roxio spin doctor

I am trying to copy tapes to cd and I am using Roxio Easy CD creater w/ Spin Doctor, but the sound quality is very fuzzy. What am I doing wrong? I have the tape machine plugged into the red input on my soundblaster card. Also, I tried a pre amp, but that made it worse.

Try the Line-in input (often blue) instead of the low quality MIC input.

I love my Delta 60HP 7000 RPM fan that puts out more dB then CFM
