I need a cpu for $120 and under. My options are the fx-4100, fx-4130, f-4170, or the fx-6100 so which one should I get? Here is my build if anyone needs it http://pcpartpicker.com/p/x9jc
FX 6100 can be had for $100 in some places. Overclock that bad boy to 4ghz and you have yourself a great performer for very little money. Thats good value.
Though, I agree that the extra money towards a FX6300 is well spent.
Don't get ANY of those, bulldozer was possibly the worst CPU series that AMD has ever made. FX 4300 or FX 6300 is the only thing I can recommend from AMD with your budget. FX 4300 is priced at 130$ and FX 6300 at 140$ which has the best value. Any of those you've choosen are terrible, just terrible. It wouldn't make any sense buying them.

Not true. The 6100 is a good value at around $110. It can be had cheap, offers great performance for the money, and unlocked multiplier. It outperforms just about anything under $125.
As a wise man said, no bad cpu's, only bad prices. And the 6100 is good at $110.
