DVI to VGA adpater refresh rates

Hi,
What would be the maximum screen refresh rate for 1280x1024 resolution while using a DVI to D-Sub/VGA adapter. I'm going to get the HD6870 which has no native D-Sub/VGA but comes with an adapter. My question is will I be able to get 75Hz screen refresh rate with that adapter? I have an old 19' lcd monitor with VGA support only and a max referesh rate of 75Hz at 1280x1024 resolution (I'll upgrade in a few months )

Should be fine.
I have a Viewsonic VX922 with 75hz @ 1280x1024..
NV 6800U, ATI 4650,NV 7800GT, NV GTX460 have all worked fine with it @75hz.
