my key board suddenly started this awkward mistake, making me put in wrong passwords and being locked out of my account at many places. kindly help

The keyboard layout is set wrong within the operating system.
If you use windows 7, then open the Control Pannel > region and Language >Clock, Language and Region > Keyboards and Languages Tab> Change Keyboards > Press Add > Select the correct keyboard type and press OK > change Default Input Language to correct setting > press apply.
