I have a macbook and an HP wireless printer. It was previously connected, but long story short, now it has to be re-done. I know how to get the printer on the network, the problem is I can't remember my network password. Is there any way its stored in my laptop? I've tried System Preferences, network, click on network name, but the password shows up as asterisks.

This is a Mac so the other two posts don't really apply here.
Underneath that row of asterisks in System Preference>Network is a box to tick to "Show password". Tick that and input what shows up in the printer's own settings. Once that's in the printer will jump into the network and you can print anything from the Powerbook.
