Hello,
I have a D-link Di-614+ router connected to a Time Warner Cable Modem. I have 3 laptops an IPhone and a PS3 all but 1 have no problems accessing the wirless and or be connected via LAN throught the router Router and connecting to the Inet. However The one laptop I can only seem to connect directly to the modem. When I plug the Line in through the router with the wifi radio on the laptop turned off or on the router immediately flashes from m1 to m2 (malfunction) and does this about every 30 seconds. after disconnecting the cable from both the router and laptop, and turning the wifi radio back on it repeats the same way.
If I am plugged directly to the cable modem itself I seem to have a seemless connection, but if I turn the wifi radio on the laptop once again I can watch the router flip from M1 to M2 even though it is no longer connected to the cable modem. It is a lenovo g550 running windows 7 with Mcafee. I have shut off Mcfee with no change disbled windows firewall, updated the windows virtual mini driver for wifi, updated the router firmware, reset the router multiple times and it has not changed. It is only this laptop that effects the connection.
