Phantom 410 Fan Controller

Hi, I have recently purchased the brilliant Phantom 410. I've put the build together successfully although I have managed to find one problem which is that the fan controller on the top of the case is not working. When I change the speed from 1-2-3, the speed always is the same. Any theories on how to fix this?

have you connected a 4 pin molex from your psu to the fan controller?

Yep, triple checked and just check it again

and your fans are connected to the controller?

not the motherboard or directly to the psu?

is there more than one molex from the fan controller ?

if its anything like my storm trooper theres a maze of wires from the controller--it took me a while to

figure out what they were all for and the user manual was pretty hopeless
