Hi,

I'm trying to configure my phone to check email, and am unclear on a few
things:
1. My goal is to configure the phone to check my comcast pop email
account. I currently have the lowest level of t-zones, the $4.95 a
month plan which I believe gives me email access?
I also have an Earthlink account, but haven't been able to configure
things successfully with either t-zones or Earthlink.
When I configured theEarthlink access point, I selected data call as my
data bearer. Everything else in the connection settings seemed pretty
standard; However, when I tried to Check email with my mailbox set to
use Earthlink as the default access point, the phone attempted to
connect and then after a few moments, gave me a "call not allowed"
message.

I tried setting the mailbox default access point to t-zones. When I do
this, the phone prompts me that a connection to the server is needed.
It appears to connect to the server and doesn't give me any error
messages, but it never pulls email from my comcast account.

I must be missing something here? Is it possible to do this with the
plan I currently have? If so, what's the secret?

Thanks,

--Al

Shouldn't your service provided be able to send you a package over the air
which sets up the 'phone automatically for you?

This is what happens in Australia, or you may be able to download from the
Nokia web pages as well.
