I just built a new computer yesterday and tried to download graphics drivers off the AMD website for my 7850. The whole thing was 150 MB and the estimated time left said 42 hours. This seems excessively long and I don't think I should leave the PC on for that long. Should I just do it? Thanks.

This is not normal depending on your speed package with your ISP. What type of internet do you have? Dialup/DSL/Cable/Fiber ?
It sounds to me like your getting slow internet speeds. Do you have a modem and/or router? If so have you tried unplugging the network equipment(modem/router/etc) for awhile then tried to plug it back in. That usually helps. If all else fails just call your ISP(Internet Service Provider).

I've always said that their drivers are buggy but this is ridiculous. BTW, what harm do you see from leaving your computer running for 42 hours? All of mine run 24/7/365 and have for years.
