Intel expi9301ctblk not working.

I have finally gotten my new pc up and running except one slightly huge problem. I have a Intel expi9301ctblk installed on my motherboard but I do not know if it is set up or not. All I get is Not connected: No connections are available but I am using the wireless at this moment. Why will nothing come up?

The Intel EXPI9301CTBLK network card is for using a wired connection (ethernet cable) to a router/modem. It has nothing to do with wireless connections.
