I really need help here. I have a test build set up for my brand new gaming pc. Everything is connected, and when I turn it on all the fans are spinning. The problem is that it isn't sending any signal to the monitor. The monitor is set to the correct channel, and it says no signal. I have tried this with DVI and HDMI on two different monitors with the same results. Have I set it up incorrectly? Please help if you can.

And here's the parts that I am using:

Hello and welcome to the forum. on the top outside edge left side is a 8 pin white connector. this is needed by the cpu and pci bus to post. there is a cable from the ps called computer eps cable..made up of two 4 pin connectors. this goes into the mb and then into the power supply..on some of the modular ps only 4 pins will fit..that fine that only 4 will. also did you plug in both 6 pin pci power to the video card and is the card in the first (top) video card slot). on power up the power good led will come on..and the led for video and ram will blink and turn off. (red ram led). if the red ram led is on or the cpu led is on.check that the cpu fan not on cpu_opt header. if the ram led is on..try one dimm in the first slot..with the asus clips you have to use some force.
if the red ram led stays on.and you gone throught all four dimms./dimm slots...use the usb flash back and put the 4 bios update on. the mb with the stock bios should boot fine but if it a ram issue...installing the new bios using the bios flashback will fix that error.

It turns out that it was a problem with the RAM. Either only one of the slots work, or something is wrong. When one of the sticks of RAM is in, the red ram led turns off, and the monitor turns on. However when two ram sticks are in, the red ram led stays on and the monitor stays off. Is this a problem with the RAM slots, or can this be fixed in the bios like you said?

there new bios to make the asus mb run more types of ram..the 80x bios is the first one. use the usb flashback port. just leave the mb off but with power and use a usb stick and rename the bios flash file per the one on asus web page under z77 usb flash back bios rename. hold the button in for 3 sec if the flie is name right the bios flash back light will blink a little faster then turned off. there four new flash files..906..1012..12xx.
