Pen or other device that will enable for 27" screen?

Hi, i this may be in the wrong category, but is there a pen or any any other device that i can just point where ever on my non-touch screen. like how at CES Targus introduce a pen for non-touch screen that will help with windows 8. how ever i would like my computer screen to be with a smart board where it can identify my finger or pen. this is just a general question.

You could try that, you put it on your finger and it points to whatever.
