I'm planning on buying BF3 ( i know it's a little late ). But i looked at GPU prices and the HD 6770 seemed very afordable. And i was wondering if 6770 could run Battlefield at High resolution.

I have Core 2 Quad @2.66GHz, 3GB RAM. So, you think it could run it?

It will run it at 1080p with the lowest graphical settings possible.

To give you an idea on what to expect look HERE.

This test was done in single player, if you are going to be playing online you'll have to lower the settings accordingly. You'll be crippled more by the Core 2 Quad more than anything. All in all - you'll be able to play.

So, Core 2 Quad is the problem in that game? Well if 6770 is not quite enough for high res, then which GPU less than $150 dls. is good for BF3?
