Son downloaded something that is messing with our computer - so we limited
his account. Now we are stuck in his account and cannot access any of the
other accounts on the system. I am account manager/supervisor and I can't
get into my account. We can't access any files or other accounts from my
son's account (computer boots up to his account - then immediately accesses
AOL -- then a backweb error (?) message comes up). No 'switch user' option
appears. Is there hope?

Boot to the Safe Mode and logon as the Administrator. Also see "How to
Take Ownership of a File or Folder in Windows XP"
