HI, I need help and advice on what would work best for my system. I was going to use this as my main drive:
Adata SX900 2.5 inch 128GB SATA III Internal SSD :
http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B007M7XRQ8/?tag=pcp0f-21
I need to put hyperspin project on my main drive so this isn't practical, the frontend is around 90GB.
So I was thinking of using a HDD with SSD cache using these 2:
Seagate 1TB Barracuda SATA 6Gb/s 64MB 7200RPM Hard Drive:
http://www.dabs.ie/products/seagate-1tb-barracuda-sata-6gb-s-64mb-7200rpm-hard-drive-7XD5.html
And this for cache:
Corsair 60GB Accelerator Series SATA 3Gb/s 2.5" Solid State Drive (280MB/s Read 260MB/s Write):
http://www.dabs.ie/products/corsair-60gb-accelerator-series-sata-3gb-s-2-5--solid-state-drive--280mb-s-read-260mb-s-write--8118.html
But i've seen another adata SSD:
Adata SX900 2.5 inch 64GB SATA III Internal SSD
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HD-028-AD&groupid=1657&catid=2101&subcat=
This is dearer, but has exactly what it says it has and has faster read/write. Do I need accelerator on the SSD?
My mobo is: ASRock Z77 Extreme 4 S1155 Intel Z77 DDR3 ATX.
And would I run into any problems if I used a separate SSD just for installing game's onto or would I lose speed for not putting them in the program files folders?

Cheers for any help.

id rather get a single 128gb SSD instead. caching only works on SSDs that are 64gb and under so using a 128gb is not possible.

go out and find a nice 30-60gb sata 2 ssd and setup intel SRT. sata 3 ssds in cache dont really help

I didn't want to use the 128gb as cache. I had the 64gb sata II that I listed as cache with the 1tb to save on room as the 128gb would be nearly filled with the hyperspin front-end I mentioned. I wanted to know if it was feasible or not? My mobo has fast 5 on it which I think will speed it up again but I don't know if that's possible.

from the SSD or fast 5? and if you have the time would you look at my other post
http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/360929-13-1200-euro-build-query
on page 2 and tell me any of the parts don't work well with each other or if there is better versions for same or lower price?
