PC is shutting down after installing new graphics card!

Hello,

I just installed a Sapphire AMD Radeon HD 6950 graphics card. When i play just about any game my computer shuts itself down. I have tried cleaning my tower and making sure my system isnt overheating but im not sure what is going on. Any idea?

AMD Phenom(tm) II X2 521 Processor
3.5 GHz
Windows 7 Home Edition 64 Bit
AMD Radeon HD 6950
4.1 GB Ram

Based on reviews 500W is recommended.

Just be aware there are a lot of crap brands out there that will end up costing you much more than the price difference between a bad PSU and a quality PSU.

Agree with Lycros, corsair 600w will serve you well. For $60 you cant beat that deal. Its not modular but that will cost you more
