Best graphics card

looking to build a new system.
Looking for one of the best CPU's available and graphics cards. I know he 690 is nvidias new flagship..does it pay to wait for the the amd card?

That just depends on what you like nVidia or AMD. The 690 is just two 680's on one card along with the $999.99 price tag. You already know so far that nVidias cards are a tad bit better in most aeras except prices now.

Amd went down to do better than AMD. So far it is working. But truely there really isn't much difference in either card that you would notice while playing games. So it is up to you on what you want and good luck to you.

Best CPU: i7 3960X. $999. Best GPU: GTX 690. $999. Although there is the Tesla K10, which is based off GK104. ;D
