New Build - Connection Problems

I just finished my first build and after a few minor issues everything seemed to be up and running smooth... i plugged in to my router and began to download drivers for my mobo and gpu... It seemed kind of slow to me but i thought nothing of it at the time. Now my new computer will not stay connected to the internet and when it is connected, it is very slow... I have 2 other computers hooked up to the same network and they both work fine, so im assuming there is something wrong with my new build! Also, both older computers recognize my network under the name i assigned it when it was set up, and my new build only recognizes it as "Network" dont know if that matters..... im not very educated when it comes to networking, any help would be appreciated!!

With a new build there really could be a million things.

1. Have you installed drivers for the internal network chip or card?
2. Did you try manually setting up a network with the network wizard on the PC?
Those would be a starting point.
