Hello all. A while back, my dad picked up a Lenovo IdeaCentre K300. The specs according to cpu-z are as follows: CPU:Intel Pentium e5700 Memory: 4 Gb of ddr3 dram Graphics: g43 express chipset (integrated) Mainboard: LENOVO to be filled by O. E. M. (???) PSU: cheap 280 watt supply
Now then. I plan on replacing the PSU, getting a discrete graphics card, and doubling the RAM. BUT... I have no idea what motherboard itt has. I've looked all over the website and all I got was OEM and g43... this doesn't tell me what kind of connnecters it would have for a gpu. So If anyone could help thanks!
Hmm, generally most recent motherboards have a PCIe x 16 slot available for a graphics card. I'm not too sure what you have. You should try opening the case to see if there are any slots available at all and compare to this photo:
Yeah It has a PCI-e x16 slot I'll post pics tonight
