The 5850 has served me very very well the last 3 years, allowing me to max out pretty much any game I play (except for the highest AA and stuff) but now in the Secret World, time has seemed to catch up to it a bit. I wanted to ask what is a good upgrade from the 5850 that will allow me to max out Secret World, and keep me future proof for another 2 years or so? I would like to keep it 300, or really 250 dollars or under.
Here are the recommended spec from the website. I'm currently running it on medium with my 5850 overclocked. 4 gigs of ram (with another 4 in the mail right now) i5 quad core 2.8 ish processor.
The ram may fix it as the game recommended 6 anyway. I can put it on high sometimes, but it usually hiccups a bit during combat or high traffic zones.
