What should I get? Core i5 2400 or i5 3570k?

Hey,
So I am upgrading from an intel core i3 2100 to either a core i5 2400 or 3570k.
What i need to know is how much difference it would REALLY make, because right now i have a mini atx motherboard and small case (mobo wont support 3570k).
I could get only the i5 2400 (215$)...
OR i could get a bigger case (50$), New motherboard (100$) and the i5 3570k (225$)
Is it reeally worth all that extra $$$. I don't want to go all cheap on this either...
I am only wanting this for gaming, here are my specs :
Intel core i3 2100
Asus gtx 660
12 gb g.skills ram
1tb HDD
If I got the 2400 it would cost me about 240$
If i got the case, mobo, and 3570k it would cost about 400$ Is it worth it???
I'm kinda leaning towards the 3570k because it seems more future proof, and this way i can get an sli motherboard, but I need your advice.

i would get the K variant, since you can oc it if you feel it's slow (after a year or two) in some games.

but for the case and mobo, i say go for it, you will need a bigger case if you will play games, much easier to work with in terms of temperature and cabling

Ya thats a very good point, i think ill just go for the better performance, i know i wont regret it later.
