Need MB, CPU, RAM, PS, VGA ... It's like herding cats!

Thought I had this solved...Until I didn't.

Building flight simulator system for FSX and X-Plane.

Displayed with XVGA projector, VGA input only no HDMI.

Have HyperX SSD 120GB, OS W7 64bit.

Full ATX motherboard and i5 desired, will not overclock, have OCD (overclocking challenge disorder)

16GB DDR3...?

Solid PS depending on video card specs.

Smooth video card with dedicated VGA port (no dvi adapting).

700.00 ish would be nice...?

if you dont know how to overclock, there are auto options avaliable.

no overclocking

i5 3450
gigabyte h77m-d3h motherboard
8gb crucial ballistix sport 1600mhz cl9 memory (newegg)
xfx 7870 (239.99 after MIR newegg)
xfx 550w psu (or corsair 5x550w v2. same units)

the card should come with a dvi to vga adaptor. if it doesnt, they are like 5 bucks from most retailers

Maybe I posted this in the wrong place, thought I would get more than one response in two days?

Have been reading a lot of the forum and have been converted to an OVERCLOCKER!

Decided on the i5 3570k but have gotten lost in the motherboard search. Any help with that would be great. Thanks.

nah you just posted at the wrong time.

if you are to overclock you will need a

i5 3570k
z77x-ud3h motherboard from gigabyte (129.99 at newegg or us.ncix.com)
hyper 212 evo CPU cooler

the rest can stay the same
