Hello! Since re-installing windows , I have been having screen tearing in games such as Vindictus and Cabal online. I have a Gateway NV53A notebook With an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4250 graphics card. I have no idead what is wrong and I was hoping somebody could help. I have already tried to re install drivers and update but nothing has been fixed.

Here is a link to some pictures of what my problem looks like: http://www.mediafire.com/?d8r865mi7w7bt

Please help as soon as possible. I cannot afford to replace this laptop.

Screen tearing is normal. You may want to turn on Vsync if you want to reduce screen tearing.

I usually have no Vsync for Vindictus because I don't mind the screen tearing.

Screen tearing is normal if your computer exceeds what is needed for the game. Usually displays can handle 60 FPS, and if you computer is powerful enough to push it beyond that you get screen tearing. To counter it you just enable Vsync and the software puts a ceiling on the FPS.
