I've got an awesome graphic and sound card, 8 Gb of ram, 3.00 GHZ dual core plenty of power and memory and a good cooling system. But even then, some games like Guild wars 2 are running at 90% cpu all the time and when there is a lot going on on screen, the cpu goes up to 100% and lags a lot. I even run game booster and often clean my pc (software wise), Thanks for helping!

Might want 16 gig of ram, but......................what kind of CPU do you have? AMD? Intel?

Some specs would help, and possibly seems the dual core is an issue

Unfortunately I do not know what motherboard I have but I can tell you that my card is an AMD radeon HD 6900 and that the cores are i5 Intel. What other specs would you need?

Somebody seems to have forgotten the I5-655K.

Clarkdale first gen i5s would be the dual cores, and if u have an i5 dual core paired with a 6950/6970, im suprised as to why there wasnt a cpu upgrade in there lol.

Also how did u conclude that a 6900 series gpu is crap? there only a generation old and the top tier in amd gpus, in system info almost all amd gpus show up as its generation not exact model, my 6770 shows as 6700 series.

If u can specify the i5s model, if not a laptop well then its quite obviously a dual core prob a first gen i5 or 2nd/3rd gen "T" model or low tdp i5

I'll look into it when I get home. Thanks for the quick replies btw

It says I have a dual core E8400 3.00GHz.
So you think the only thing I could do is change the cores? Im not sure adding ram will change anything because it never goes more than 40% or its capacity.
