I wouldn't go past a 7750, what gpu do you have now?

I might even suggest a 5570 depending on the games you play.

And is it a Pentium D or a Pentium e2200? they are 2 separate procs.

Whether there is a bottleneck at all will depend on your monitor resolution and image settings .
Buy the 6870 , and if you can OC the processor and there will be no problems at all

Direct from System in my Control Panel for CPU it says: Intel(R) Pentium(R) Dual CPU E2200 @2.2ghz 2.2ghz

I figured the word Dual men it was a Pentium D. Im probably wrong.

Current GPU: GeForce 9500 GT 512mb OC to 610mhz core clock 560mhz memory clock, no voltage change.

Games I play/would play if I could: BF3 Diablo3 Crysis3(when it comes out) CSS, etcetera

Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080 @ 1080p

Cannot overclock processor because it is factory locked because this is partly pieces from an old dell.

I know the GPU wont run as fast as it can I just want to know how much of a hit it would take. THANKS!

Man you Cpu is dual core e2200 . The games that are CPU intensive like BF3 , skyrim 5 , GTA 4 will somewhat lag at higher setting . . It will be difficult to play those game at 1920x1080 . So better invest on CPU like i3 2100/2120 or i5 2400 . But If you have plan of upgrading your processor in future then buy 6870 or nvidia 560 for sure . If you wanna stay with your processor then buy HD 7750 and save some money for your future upgrade . BTW what PSU are you using ??

I am planning to upgrade my cpu in 5 months. Good enough PSU. Thank You

You say good enough but what psu is it? Not saying you are wrong but seeing as how we get people coming in here asking if there 200w psu can power a 680... we just like being sure your not gonna blow up your system :)
