Going to be building my younger brother a new pc for gaming purposes. He'll only need the tower, no peripherals, monitor, OS, etc. Best bang for his buck kind of thing. He'll have $1000 saved up within the next 2-3 weeks for it. I'll be building towards the end of September. I have a few part selections in mind but I'm not set on anything. Any help on build/part recommendations is appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I thought I posted it in the initial post. Sorry if I missed it, I've been freakishly busy today at work. To answer the question though, the $1000 is just for the tower. He already has a monitor/keyboard/mouse/speakers/OS/etc.
