Why does my computer keep hag when ever i start playing games

every time i started playing games after 10 to 15 mins i start to feel lag and the screen will turn black out of suddenly, then my pc will have a tone like its hanged after that it wont reboot and i have to manually reboot. please help! there is a code shown at the first few times (BCCODE 116)

my computer specs:
Acer predator G3610
16gb RAM
2TB of capacity
NVIDIA GT545 3GB
550W (power supply)

Well there are a few things you can try. First I would update the drivers you can get most of them here http://support.acer.com/product/default.aspx?modelId=4114. But for the Graphics drivers I would go to Nvidia's website to get the latest as the drivers on Acer's site are from 06/04/2011 so quite old.

You could also have a heat problem. Is the inside of your PC free of dust? How is your CPU and GPU temps? You can get SpeedFan to check your temps at http://www.almico.com/speedfan.php.

I would also run a memory test just to make sure you do not have any bad ram sticks. You can get a burnable ISO at http://www.memtest86.com/. Just burn it to a CD and boot from it and let it run. With 16gig it will take a while.

Lastly is DirectX up todate? Remember that even though DirectX 11 is built into Windows Vista and 7 a lot of games still require DirectX 9 runtimes.

Its a 4day old computer, so i consider it to be dust free , i have already tried to download the newest driver but in vain..
