I'm ready to build my first computer.

I will use the computer for 3d modeling, animation and rendering mostly.

I've seen most of the builds here are for gamers and I want to note that I won't be playing any games on my PC.

Softwares I will mostly use:
Maya2012, 3ds Max 2012, Zbrush.

These are my top 3 priorities and of course Photoshop, Illustrator.

My second priority are After Effects (but not as much as the first 5)

BUDGET:
Arround 1500 - 2000. Not fixed.

Thank you very much.

pp.s From what I've read Maya is superior with

AMD 100-505648 FirePro V5900 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported Workstation Video Card Item #: N82E16814195106

And 3ds max and zbursh aren't bad with that VC either.

But will AE work with it? Since it doesn't have CUDA support. Or I just won't be able to run it smooth and with a few features?

sry for the long post.

That sounds like it's a business machine? If you want to earn money with it I would suggest a prebuild on like the Dell Precision T3500 Tower Workstation with ECC RAM, guarantied compatibility and warranty.

I suggest you go to the individual websites of the software you want to run and find the common denominator for the system requirements. Use that as a minimum configuration.
