My current build is about 18 months old. it is primarily a gaming rig. I want some advice as to whether there are any worthwhile upgrades I can do to my rig, or if i build a new rig, what would be a good setup for a noticable upgrade.

I play MMOs, RPGs and some FPS, Diablo3, SWTOR, Skyrim, CoD MW3, and a few others. I mostly play everything in 720 to turn up all the eye candy for 60+ frames. some games i can do 1080 and do the same. but there is noticable fps drop usually.

Current System no overclock

well the biggest noticable framerate drop i notice is in Skyrim, i can manage solid 60 most places, but do notice the drop to the 30's and 40's in some active places or during fights. maybe its the monitor, but it looks very smooth at 60 but not smooth at all when in the 30's and 40's. I do use vsync since with it off the screen tearing is horrid. perhaps this is just normal. i guess it takes a pretty hefty system to cap 60 frames all the time. especially in a game like that.
