Does anyone know of any good software that I can use to make some panoramic
images of some pics I have taken. It must be relatively easy to use and I'm
willing to pay for it if it's good.

I tried it once. It gave me a wavy horizon. It has no capability of setting
horizontal control points. So no way to fix it. Maybe if you use a tripod
it will come out okay, but as I don't it was useless. I use PTGui. It has a
high learning curve, but the end result is top notch.

Autostitch does an amazing job, but you need to be aware of a couple of
things:
* It uses a spherical projection not a cylindrical one, and so your
straight lines come out slightly curved
* No manual intervention is possible - the process is entirely
automated - so there's no opportunity to give it hints about the points
to match up.
That said, it gets it right most of the time and the blending is pretty
impressive. Have a look here for some examples of how it goes wrong,
and what it does when it goes right:

Jan.
I put some pictures made with panorama factory here:
I make no claims about the technical merit of them - judge them as you see
fit.
(Camera used was a Casio QV2900UX 2.1mega pixel)
