Will 3470 work on H61?

Will a i5 3470 ivy bridge processor work on a H61 motherboard??
I have updated the Bios to the latest version!

You need to go to the manufacturer's website and see the supported CPU list for that specific mobo. If the i5-3470 is listed then you can use it. If it is not listed then the PC may not even boot up.

Its the same as a 3570K, just without the unlocked core multiplier. It should work fine. 90% sure.

I'm using an I5 3470 on the USB3 revision of that motherboard and it works perfectly. I've overclocked to 4.2GHz using the clock multiplier etc.
