Some help with the hardware combination

Intel® Core™ i7-920 Processor
EVGA x58 SLI LE motherboard
CORSAIR XMS3 TR3X6G1600C8 6X2GB
EVGA geforce gtx 460 1GB

Hello all. Im going to buy the used computer with above cofiguration. But for some reason I have a feeling that this hardware combination is not right, why? Could someone please explain to me?

Processor, motherboard, memory are fine. Card goes with any PC with PCIeX16 slot. What issue do you have?

I read some where that the Intel® Core™ i7-920 supports only 800-1066 RAMS and All the RAMS are 1600. So isnt there going to be a performance loss in the RAM speep?

I'm pretty sure the i7-920 memory controller supports up to 1600MHZ memory, even though it "officially" only supports the range you listed. I missed out on that generation of Intel processors, but here is some information that may help you.
