I have the linksys wireless router WAP11 and I've found my signal is very weak. The router is upstairs and my laptop downstairs has a 10% signal. From my kitchen I lose the signal...this is a 3200 sq. ft house, so it's not that big. I can't add access points...is there anything I can do to strenghten the signal?

3200 sf is big to me! If you can afford that, then you can afford a wireless repeater or another WAP.

There are also some reviews on THG. Some of them reference SNB as well.

You have to position the terminal correctly as well. Imagine the projected signal like a big donut. If you're inside that empty cone, you get nada. The receiver needs to be on a fairly level plane with the transmitter. Keep it away from magnets and large power sources, keeping it out in the open also helps.
