Can I get to big of a graphics card?

Greetings everyone Im Michael

I find myself now needing to have multiple monitors for this internet talk show I'm building. My question is...

Can I get to big of a graphics card?

last year I was using all three monitors, this year (somehow) between changing rooms I lost my Dual link DVI-I to VGA adapter so the one I ordered to replace it naturally was the wrong one (DVI-D) so Is this the reason I get the "No multiple monitor support" message? My machine is running XP Pro and I have set every setting that can be found and still nothing.

So I have since ordered the proper adapter (while keeping an eye peeled for the original) but if this somehow continues to tell me I have "no multiple monitor support" I am willing to change graphics cards if needs be just as soon as I stop screaming!.

Any ideas and or help would be wonderful...

Thank you very much in advance for your time and assistance!

I am not sure what you are asking also if you post your full spec especially your current graphics card it will help to advise.
