G620 + gtx 650 vs 3470 + gtx 650

Processor : The Pentium g620
Graphics : evga gtx 650 oc
mobo: p8h61-mx



I wan to upgrade to i5 3470: will i see any difference?

EDIT: i updated my bios so it supports ivy bridge!

Differences in what? What is your system used for and what PSU do you have?

You will see difference in cpu intensive games and you will get better framerate in games and also it would be fast in multitasking.

My psu is a 550W but idk what brand, and mainly for gaming and surfing the net

depending on your gaming you would notice higher framerates.

If it's a very poor brand it might not take the added load especially if your PCwas a pre build shop system.
