Is it bad to keep fans spinning at 100%

I just got a fan controller and after hooking it up noticed that when I have my Push/Pull system using Gentle Typhoons running at 100% it was still quiet enough not to bother me and I like knowing that it is cooling my CPU as best as it can all the time. Is there a down side to this?
