Hi there.
Most of the mainboards contain the brand and type mainboard on it. Most of the time it will be put onto the mainboard in the neightbourhood of the CPU or PCI-E slots.

If there is no brand or type stamped on the mainboard you can check if there is a sticker with a part number on it. Most of the time you can just search it up on Google

You could download Cpu-Z and the motherboard type will be listed under mainboard, it even found the type of my generic dell a while ago.
