Power cable touching GPU heat sink

I have a power cable that runs from my power supply at the bottom of my case, to the power slot at the top of my mobo, and it has to go over my graphics card to do this (because it's a short wire). It unfortunately hast to touch the heat sink of my GPU, like this.

Is this safe?

Not sure, isn't there any way to stop if from touching? Maybe at some tape?
