My brother purchased a touchscreen "all-in-one" Acer Z5610 that comes with a port on the side he believes is for media tuning. Wonder what this port is specifically for and how it works if anyone has any idea. Also, what cables would he need to use it?

Thanks in advance guys and gals.

Cant be sure, but to hazard a guess I'd say it was a 3.5mm headphone or microphone jack. You plug your headphones into it.

I can assure you it's not a 3.55mm jack. On his PC is clearly states "TV Tuner" but there's no instructions on how it's used.

In that case it's probably a Coaxial cable input, which allows for TV to be received by the PC. Common feature in HTPC's and some pre-builts.

The cable you plug into the back of a TV can go there, if you have the right software, can watch and record TV on your computer.

Cable looks like this.
