My laptop screen keeps going off.

When I'm using my laptop my screen keeps turning off almost like when it goes into sleep mode but it does it while I'm typing or using the mouse. I cant find any reason for this problem. Laptops only a year old battery is good and I cant find any program errors or viruses. Any ideas????

Are you ABSOLUTELY SURE its off...when i say dim, i mean around 2 to 5% of normal brightness...you have to look VERY carefully at exactly the correct angle..

I have exactly the same issue. Screen just randomly switches off. I've had it to the repair shop. They reinstalled Windows 7 but that hasn't cured it. Repair man thought it might be something to do with the driver for the graphics card, but I have the latest one and he had no other ideas...

shine a flash light on it see what happens thats what I did with my sisters mac
