Nvidia geforce gtx 550 ti on asus p5nsli

Hi. I'm planning to purchase a nvidia geforce gtx 550 ti or a palit geforce gtx 550 ti. Is it compatible to my mother board which is asus p5nsli? i have the latest bios. :)

    That motherboard only supports 16gb ram and dual core CPUs. http://support.asus.com/cpusupport/list.aspx?SLanguage=en&m=p5nsli&p=1

    If you put anything too much newer than a 2008 card on that board, you will lock windows up while running anything video intensive. I know because I used that board with a GTX 460, and could not get anywhere. It was seuguested to me to just get a new system. If you are willing to go AMD, you can get something like this and re use your card:
