My PC changes to themes when I run Prime95

I was running Prime95 and 30 min into the test the Windows theme changes from Windows 7 Aero theme to Windows 7 Basic theme.
Than, it changes to Aero to Basic. Vice versa...

Is this normal? Does this happen to anyone else? I don't get any errors or warning ...

This is the setting my running Prime95 under:

Toture test settings:
Min FFT size(in K) 128
Max FFT size(in K) 5000
Memory (in MB) to use 6000

CPU: AMd FX 8350 4GHZ ( Stock, not overclocked)
GPU: AMD 6870 (not overclocked)
RAM: 8GB Corsair Dual Channel
Motherboard: ASUS M5A97 R2.0
PSU: XFX 450W
Samsung 830 128GB SSD
500GB Wester Digital
OS: Windows 8

Yeah, it is normal. Windows automatically shifts away from Aero if it thinks there's a shortage of RAM

The default is to have windows automatically pick the display settings for best performance. If it bugs you, you can go in and check adjust for best appearance and it will stay there.
