Hyper 212 Evo Fan Bracket Screws

Hello,

I am trying to attach the fan brackets to the fan using the supplied screws. However, the screws are slightly too big, or the hole drilled in the fan is slightly too small and won't fully screw in even with applied pressure. The result is that the fan brackets are loose and wobble around if you shake the fan. Is this intentional? Or am I doing something wrong?
