Hello community,
Today I ran 75 feet of Cat 6 Ethernet cable between my router and a device. I definitely overestimated how much cable I needed, and I have about 10-15 feet of excess cable coiled. My question is: can this have an effect on my connection speed? I'd prefer to not: shorten the cable or return it to Newegg. I'd much rather just stick with what I have, but only if there will be no detrimental effect on speed. As usual, thanks for your feedback.
